Appearance: Penelope Garcia has unique and eclectic sense of style. She wears bright colors to combat the horrible things that she sees on a daily basis. She does funky things with her hair often coloring one part of it brightly. She wears feathers and butterflies in her hair, and always a smile on her face.

Personality:
Penelope Garcia is hardly one to fly under the radar. Her individuality is usually the first thing people notice. Her brightly colored clothes and her funky hairstyle hardly scream unnoticeable. In her phone conversation, she appears to be overconfident in her abilities often referring to herself as superior. As Offputting and weird as that may sound, Penelope quickly proves her adeptness at her job and also the kind, caring, and empathetic person she is.
Maybe the reason that Garcia can immediately connect with people and put them at ease is the fact that she wears her heart on her sleeve. She is highly emotional and makes no attempt to hide her feelings which complicate her job when she is forced to cover her eyes to avoid the daily violence she faces at the bureau. Garcia has intense reactions to the crime scene photos that she is obliged to review and analyze. She combats the violence by decorating her office with happiness and bright colors. She fills her space with frivolity, so as her teammates' state she remembers to smile.
Nearly guileless, Penelope has trouble keeping secrets. She is a loyal enough to make an exceptional confident. The one flaw in that theory is that Penelope is a terrible liar and often makes no attempt even to try and lie. She does agree to try to keep secret, and she will try with everything that she is, but inevitably Garcia gets caught because Penelope is laughably transparent when she tries to lie. Penelope Garcia is about as subtle as a sledgehammer when she feels something everyone around her nose it. She is likely to seek out others to discuss her problems or if she is unsure or doesn't understand something or someone.
Garcia has an overabundance of empathy for the victim terms of crimes and their families having lost her parents to a drunk driving accident. She runs a support group for families of murder victims in her free time, and it's very supportive of the members of her clients. Garcia becomes visibly upset when she have to view many of the more graphic aspects of their cases. Garcia goes above and beyond to protect her team, especially when one of them is in danger. She will do anything that she has to do to protect her family, but that mainly applies to her best friend, Derek Morgan. Garcia has said on more than one occasion that Derek has a hero complex. More than keeping her team safe, Penelope likes to keep them sane and smiling despite what they faith in their day to day jobs. Garcia uses her wet and dramatically overstated self-confidence to make the field agent smile when they call her for requests.
Garcia is extraordinarily confident about her programming hacking and general information thinking skills; it is in this capacity and then herself designed office riddled with monitors, where she is most comfortable. Her constant posting is someone of a trademark for her. She is always making up new ways to declare her superiority, often referring to herself as a fount of all knowledge and goddess just to name a few. She does live up to those words, pulling information out of a hat from obscure and well-hidden sources no matter what the cost. Once she has a goal in mind, she doesn't stop until she reaches the finish line, And it makes her an invaluable part of the team, perhaps the most important part despite her role being different.
Garcia of confidence in many ways it's tied to her computer mastery. She displays discomfort when her offices rearranged or things in her environment change and even when someone else is in the room, and she is trying to focus. The fastest way to upset Garcia is to mess with her computer system. This is far easier said than done but on the few instances when someone has managed to disrupt her binary world, she seeks vengeance obsessively, refusing to rest until a balance is restored.
Despite her confidence behind the computer, Penelope has a bit of an inferiority complex when faced with the interactions outside of a computer context. She can be shy or rendered speechless when introduced to an attractive man, and has stated that she is aware that she is not "the type that man sees across a smoky bar and write songs about." Her lack of confidence is also seen when she gets flustered, usually by spouting off a nasty retort that is intended for Morgan but it ends up being a superior on the other end of the line or a group of the phone call. Her best defense to feeling flustered or uncomfortable it's to change the subject rapidly or bombard the object of her discomfort with words, using her her verbose vocabulary in an attempt to smooth things over or sidestep her way out of the sticky situation.
Garcias fierce and endearing sense of self is vital to who she is as it is her face goodness. She is a firm believer in everything happens for a reason and she trusts her instincts and when she goes against what she believes in it usually ends up in a situation where Penelope feels very uncomfortable. She learned the hard way that she functions better in her unique and quirky computerized world rather than as the public face of the B a U. She firmly believes in her philosophy that everything will turn out OK, it is the only way that she can make right the wrongs that she sees every day.

She had known her fair of loss in her life, the first being when she was 18. She still shivered every time she walked in a park. There were so many trees in the place where her parents were buried that she couldn’t stand to be in the middle of them for too long.
Garcia cleared her throat as she tried to make herself look busy. Her mind was not on her work; Her mind was not on her work; it was the man that she had just watched walk out of her life. Her Chocolate Thunder, her Adonis, her rock, her Derek. She knew that he was doing what was best for him and his family, but that didn’t mean that she wouldn’t miss him with every fiber of her being.
Penelope found the silver lining in most situations, but she couldn’t figure out how to move forward. Derek had always been the one to ground her, to reign her in, to focus her. She couldn’t help but smile, though, Derek was alive and happy, so that was all that mattered. She picked a troll up off her desk, mussing up his hair into some crazy style.
